Sean Strickland said Megan Fox sent him a direct message after his remarks about her children and Machine Gun Kelly. He described the exchange on Versus Us with Eric Nicksick; the message details remain Strickland’s account, not an independently authenticated statement from Fox.
Why Sean Strickland said Megan Fox messaged him
In an Aug. 20, 2024 report, The Daily Caller said Strickland recounted the exchange on Versus Us with Eric Nicksick. He said Fox contacted him because his remarks had led to her children being bullied online. In Strickland’s retelling, Fox also said her children wanted to dress like rock stars. Those details are attributed to him; the reports do not reproduce or independently verify the private message. TMZ also reported his account that day.
What Strickland said about her children
Strickland said he would stop commenting on Fox’s children and acknowledged he should not have mocked them: “There is a point where I shouldn’t be making fun of your fucking kids, I get it.” The Daily Caller reported that he continued criticizing MGK and making remarks about Fox afterward.
How the MGK feud began
The message story followed an earlier verbal clash. In a report published Feb. 12, 2024, MMA Fighting said Strickland described meeting Machine Gun Kelly at a Power Slap event in Las Vegas and insulting his appearance. Strickland said his girlfriend pulled him away as the exchange nearly escalated; the reported confrontation did not become physical. UFC CEO Dana White commented on the incident: “You can’t bring Sean Strickland around any other human beings.”

What is confirmed about the exchange
The chronology is clear: the Las Vegas incident was reported in February 2024, and reports of Strickland’s account of Fox’s DM appeared on Aug. 20, 2024. The available reporting attributes the message and its contents to Strickland. It does not include independent confirmation of the DM or a direct comment from Fox about the exchange.
