The reports described public sightings; they did not include a statement from Bullock about the outings or establish how she was feeling.
When was Sandra Bullock photographed?
¡HOLA! reported that Bullock was spotted on October 26, 2023, and photographed again in Los Angeles the following week. In its November 2 report, the outlet described her clothing as a long black faux-fur coat, black leggings, sneakers, gold jewelry, sunglasses and a large purse. Those are the outlet’s descriptions of what appeared in the photographs, not independently verified product identifications. Read ¡HOLA!’s account of the sightings.
Yahoo Entertainment published a report on November 3 framing the outing as a rare appearance roughly three months after Randall’s death. Its search-result summary said Bullock was seen walking with a smile; that description should not be taken as evidence of her private emotional state. Read Yahoo Entertainment’s report.
Who was Bryan Randall?
Randall was a photographer and Bullock’s longtime partner. They first met in 2015, when he photographed her son’s birthday, according to The Guardian. Bullock called him “the love of my life” in 2021. The available reporting describes him as her partner, not her husband.

Randall died on August 5, 2023, aged 57, after a three-year battle with ALS, according to his family’s statement as reported by The Guardian. The family said he had chosen to keep his illness private: “Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honour his request.”
What the photographs do—and do not—show
The late-2023 reports document sightings in Los Angeles. They do not provide Bullock’s own account of the outing. A smile, an outfit or a public appearance cannot establish how someone is coping with bereavement, so the photographs should not be read as proof that she had moved on or was feeling a particular way.

A later remembrance in 2024
In January 2024, Bullock’s sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado, posted a remembrance for what would have been Randall’s 58th birthday. People, in a report republished by Yahoo, identified the location as Snake River in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and quoted her caption: “Happy birthday, Bry. Sandy brought you to the river, just as you promised.” The account says Bullock brought Randall’s ashes to the river. This was a later remembrance, separate from the Los Angeles sightings in 2023.
