San Diego Comic-Con ran July 25–28, 2024, and brought film and television announcements from across studios and franchises. This roundup highlights notable trailers, teasers, and clips associated with the convention—not a measured popularity ranking. Some footage was released publicly; other material was screened only for attendees.
Movie trailers and convention footage
Transformers One
A second trailer for the animated film Transformers One was released worldwide after its Comic-Con appearance. GameSpot also reported that three additional clips were shown to the Hall H audience but were not released worldwide, making them distinct from the public trailer. GameSpot’s Comic-Con trailer roundup distinguishes the publicly released trailer from the attendee-only clips.
Television trailers and teasers
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, season two
GameSpot included a season-two trailer for The Rings of Power among its Comic-Con coverage.
The Penguin
The DC series appeared in both GameSpot’s roundup and Rotten Tomatoes’ collection of Comic-Con trailers and clips.

- How to Play: Compete with your friends to identify popular movies from the most convoluted movie summaries possible. Has your mom ever tried to explain a film that she just watched? Did it make one ounce of sense? Of course not–and that’s precisely the inspiration for this game. For example: A goose suddenly dies and it makes everyone really depressed. Psst, it’s 'Top Gun’.
- Package Includes: Features 125 game cards–each featuring a uniquely-terrible description of a movie. Includes instructions for two distinct ways to play (competitive & casual). Suitable for 2 to 8 players.
- Perfect for parties: Brass Monkey’s “Poorly Explained Movies Game” is the perfect party game to make sure everyone has a great time, bring it to your next college dorm game night, happy hour, or even bachelor/bachelorette party and see for yourself.
- Gift Ideas: Ideal gift for birthdays, graduation, holiday gifts, and Christmas
Other series represented in the collections
Rotten Tomatoes’ event collection also describes trailer or clip material for Star Trek: Section 31, Interview with the Vampire season three, Mayfair Witches season two, Family Guy, Wynonna Earp: Vengeance, Star Trek: Lower Decks, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and Superman & Lois. The collection includes a mix of publicly available releases and convention-exclusive footage, so its entries should not all be read as public trailer launches. Rotten Tomatoes’ trailer and clip collection provides the event-wide selection.
Marvel footage and announcements
GameSpot’s roundup also covers Marvel footage and announcements from the convention. That description does not establish that all the Marvel material was released publicly as a trailer; announcements and footage screened at a panel are different kinds of news.

How to read this roundup
- “Biggest” is editorial curation. The cited collections do not provide a shared popularity metric, view counts, or a ranked list.
- A trailer, teaser, and clip are not interchangeable. Some entries were full public releases; others were shorter previews or footage shown to attendees.
- Comic-Con appearance does not confirm a public release. Paramount+’s pre-event schedule listed panels for Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek properties including Section 31, and Dexter: Original Sin, but that schedule alone does not establish that each panel produced publicly released trailer footage. Paramount+’s July 10, 2024 event announcement is useful for panel context.
- Check each title separately for where to watch. These event collections are not a unified, current viewing directory.
The convention-wide coverage spans movies and television across multiple studios and franchises, but it is a selection rather than a complete inventory of everything shown July 25–28, 2024.
