In an October 12, 2021 announcement, TAG Heuer named Gosling a brand ambassador and introduced its Carrera Three Hands collection as the starting point of the partnership. Gosling’s character Sebastian wears a small, apparently gold Omega with a leather strap and applied 12, 3, 6, and 9 markers. Hodinkee estimates its case at 34 mm, but says the available view is not sufficient to identify an exact vintage reference. First Man: Omega watches in the Neil Armstrong role
Swatch Group identifies two Omega watches worn by Gosling while portraying Neil Armstrong: the Speedmaster ST 105.003 in NASA training scenes and the CK 2605 in scenes depicting Armstrong’s daily life. The Speedmaster ST 105.012 is used by actors portraying Apollo 11 astronauts during the mission and lunar landing. The Gray Man and Barbie: character wardrobe
In addition to the Carrera Three Hands worn by Sierra Six in The Gray Man, British GQ identifies a Carrera Calibre 5 in the film and three vintage TAG Heuer watches worn by Ken in Barbie.
