Russell Crowe told Joe Rogan that he weighed 126 kilograms after finishing Nuremberg and 100.9 kilograms in a later conversation. The difference between those interview-reported figures is 25.1 kilograms (about 55.3 pounds); they are not independently verified weigh-ins.
What Russell Crowe said about his weight
In the transcript of The Joe Rogan Experience episode 2406, Crowe says, “I was 126 kilos when I finished Nuremberg. I’m 100.9 right now.” Rogan congratulates him. Comparing those two figures gives a reported difference of 25.1 kilograms, or about 55.3 pounds. That arithmetic describes Crowe’s account in the interview, not a verified medical or weight record.

How the earlier figure fits the timeline
Crowe gave an intermediate figure in an earlier conversation, episode 2191. In its transcript, he says that after finishing Nuremberg he decided a decade was over and he would “go back the other way.” He reported weighing 126 kilograms after the film and 112.5 kilograms at the time of that earlier conversation. The later 100.9-kilogram figure comes from the episode 2406 transcript.
| Conversation | Reported weight | What the transcript supports |
|---|---|---|
| Episode 2191 | 126 kg after Nuremberg; 112.5 kg during the conversation | Crowe described deciding to lose weight after the film. |
| Episode 2406 | 126 kg after Nuremberg; 100.9 kg “right now” | A later self-reported figure than the 112.5 kg in the earlier conversation. |
The figures indicate the sequence Crowe described, but the transcript pages are third-party sources; they do not establish official episode dates or independently verify the exact wording against the recordings. They should be understood as his statements in those conversations, not as a continuous, independently documented measurement history.
#1 Best Overall
- The Allies, led by the unyielding chief prosecutor, Robert H. Jackson (Michael Shannon), have the task of ensuring high ranking Nazi officials answer for the Holocaust in the trial of the century, while a US Army psychiatrist (Rami Malek) is locked in a dramatic psychological duel with former Reichsmarschall Hermann Gring (Russell Crowe).
What he said about diet, exercise and treatments
In episode 2406, Crowe described his food as “99%” healthy and talked about discipline and exercise. He also mentioned injections into his shoulders and knees and IVs while discussing inflammation and old injuries. The transcript does not establish that the injections or IVs caused his weight change or demonstrate that those treatments are effective for weight loss. His comments are personal remarks, not medical evidence or a treatment recommendation.

What this account can—and cannot—tell you
- It can tell you: Crowe linked his decision to lose weight to finishing Nuremberg, and gave the three figures above in two Joe Rogan conversations.
- It cannot verify: his measurements independently, the exact dates of each weigh-in, or the cause of the change.
- It does not support: a general weight-loss plan, a claim that a treatment produces weight loss, or a product recommendation. The interviews identify no specific product as a weight-loss aid.
