RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 10 brought back 18 queens and replaced the usual season structure with a points-based Tournament of All Stars. Paramount+ announced the cast and format on April 23, 2025; the U.S. premiere followed on May 9, 2025.
Who is in the All Stars 10 cast?
The 18 returning contestants announced by Paramount+ were:

The official season guide lists their earlier franchise appearances, spanning Nicole Paige Brooks, who competed in Season 2, through Lydia B. Kollins, who competed in Season 17. How did the Tournament of All Stars work?
The announced format divided the queens into three brackets of six. Each bracket competed across three episodes, and the top three queens by points in each group advanced. That produced nine semifinalists.

- Bracket rounds: Three groups of six competed in separate three-episode runs.

Paramount+ described the change in its April 23 announcement: “For the first time ever, RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS will introduce a brand-new format across 12 episodes: the Tournament of All Stars.” Read the official cast and format announcement.
What happened across the 12 episodes?
The season’s official episode guide records 12 episodes. Episodes 1–9 cover the three bracket phases; episode 10 brings back nine semifinalists, episode 11 has eight remaining, and the finale features a final eight, including one returning competitor. The episode guide’s progression shows that the finale lineup was not simply the nine bracket qualifiers carried forward unchanged. Paramount+’s Season 10 episode guide lists the episode sequence.

What changed for viewers?
The bracket structure meant viewers saw a limited subset of the 18 contestants compete together during each opening phase, rather than the entire cast sharing every episode. Points also made advancement depend on results across a bracket’s three-episode run. In a May 7, 2025 interview, PAPER observed that contestants were siloed from many of their competitors early on; that is commentary on the format’s effect, not a stated producer rationale. PAPER’s cast interview also notes the cast’s span from Season 2 to Season 17.

Paramount+ announced a $200,000 grand prize and a May 9, 2025 U.S. premiere, with two episodes released on premiere day. Its May 1, 2025 guide said Season 10 streamed exclusively on Paramount+ and that earlier All Stars seasons and Untucked were available there at that time.
