Rogers’ Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour giveaway is over. The Canadian telecom announced a national customer contest on August 6, 2024, offering 35 pairs of tickets every week for shows in Toronto and Vancouver through November 26, 2024. Rogers later said the national contest had wrapped up, and its published materials do not give a consolidated final count of tickets awarded.
Is the Rogers Taylor Swift giveaway still open?
No. The entry period for the 2024 national contest ran through November 26, 2024. In a December 2 update, Rogers described the national contest as recently wrapped up. There is no current entry process in the published contest materials.
How many tickets did Rogers advertise?
Rogers announced that it would give away “35 pairs of tickets every week” during the contest period. That recurring rate and the announced run dates support the headline’s “more than 1,000” scale: they describe the advertised giveaway, not a verified final tally. Rogers did not publish an audited aggregate of tickets actually awarded across the national contest and separate promotional activity.
How did customers enter?
Rogers said customers would receive contest details by email or text on August 6 or 7, 2024. The text-message route asked recipients to reply “Swiftie.” In the email flow, customers could select yes and briefly explain why they were a Taylor Swift fan. People who had unsubscribed from Rogers communications could sign in to MyRogers or My Shaw to find entry details.

Rogers said it would contact potential winners directly and announce winners weekly during “Taylor Tuesdays,” beginning August 20, on Breakfast Television and Rogers’ Instagram. These were the announced mechanics for the closed 2024 contest, not instructions for a current giveaway.
What were the prizes?
The official rules describe ticket-only prizes as well as a travel-option prize. The travel option included two concert tickets, round-trip economy air travel for the winner and one guest, and one night of double-occupancy hotel accommodation. The sponsors determined travel dates and some trip details.

Which concerts were included?
The contest announcement named Toronto and Vancouver. For Toronto, Rogers had listed six November 2024 concert dates at Rogers Centre: November 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23. Rogers also described additional street-level giveaway activity in Vancouver in its December 2 update, separate from publishing a final total for the national contest.
