An official festival release’s search-result excerpt said tickets for that date were still available and listed Avenged Sevenfold, Evanescence and Journey. It did not disclose how many tickets remained.
What the 2024 announcement said
Rock in Rio’s official 2024 release identified September 15 as a date featuring Avenged Sevenfold, Evanescence and Journey. Its accessible search-result excerpt indicated that tickets for the date were still available at the time. The linked release is no longer accessible, so the exact announcement date, the amount of inventory and the wording behind “final tickets” cannot be confirmed from the available record. Was this an announcement that tickets are available now?
No. The reported availability refers to the 2024 sale, and the evidence does not establish any current ticket offer for that event. “Final tickets” should be read as historical headline language, not as a claim about present availability or a verified last batch.
Why Journey is part of the date’s lineup
Although the title highlights Avenged Sevenfold and Evanescence, the official release excerpt also names Journey for September 15. The available information does not explain why the title leaves Journey out; it is safest to treat the title as shorthand for the date rather than a complete lineup listing.

Do not confuse the 2024 date with Rock in Rio 2026
Rock in Rio’s current Avenged Sevenfold artist page lists a separate performance on September 5, 2026, at Cidade do Rock. That is a different festival edition from the September 15, 2024 date. Rock in Rio Avenged Sevenfold page
The festival’s 2026 FAQ says Ticketmaster is the authorized seller for that edition and describes digital entry through Quentro. Those are 2026 ticketing details; the FAQ does not establish the authorized seller or entry procedure for 2024. Rock in Rio 2026 FAQ
