This selection focuses on the best-supported highlights: John Cena, Mr. McMahon, and The Rock. The order is editorial, based on surprise, opponent reaction, and story context—not an official WWE ranking.
Why the Stink Face became a Rikishi signature
WWE describes the Stink Face as Rikishi standing over an incapacitated opponent in the corner and planting his buttocks on the opponent’s face. The deliberately humiliating spectacle fit the comic side of his persona. WWE connects his popular 1999 return with his alliance with Too Cool, the dance-loving trio whose antics helped make his character a crowd favorite. WWE lists the Stink Face among his signature moves in its Rikishi profile.
Three standout Stink Face moments
1. John Cena on SmackDown, November 7, 2002
This is the clearest dated example in WWE’s official video listings: Rikishi used the move against John Cena during their SmackDown match on November 7, 2002. The pairing gives the moment its appeal—Cena was still early in his WWE career, while Rikishi was deploying a move built around comic embarrassment. WWE identifies the match and the Stink Face in its match video listing.
2. Mr. McMahon gets the boss-level humiliation
WWE’s Rikishi profile names Mr. McMahon as one of the recipients of the Stink Face. The joke practically writes itself: an authority figure used to controlling the room becomes the target of Rikishi’s signature indignity. WWE’s Hall of Fame announcement also characterizes the move as one of Rikishi’s notoriously smelly signatures, but the official material cited here does not establish the specific segment date or its full surrounding scene. The moment is memorable for the boss-versus-performer dynamic, not because it can be tied here to a verified episode.

3. The Rock as an unlikely target
WWE also names The Rock as a recipient. The contrast between one of wrestling’s most charismatic stars and Rikishi’s deliberately ridiculous move makes this a natural standout. The official profile confirms the pairing, but does not supply a date or sequence, so it is safer to treat this as a documented recipient rather than attach an unverified storyline or crowd reaction.
Why this is a selection, not a ten-moment countdown
WWE’s official sources establish the move’s place in Rikishi’s persona and name several recipients, but they do not document ten distinct moments or rank them. An unofficial compilation description also names Kurt Angle, Booker T, and Rico, but a compilation description alone does not confirm the exact footage, date, or context of each clip. Without those details verified against original WWE footage, expanding this into ten factual entries would overstate what is established.
Rank #2
- WWE action figures bring fan-favorite Superstars to life in 6-inch scale!
- Each figure is detailed with TrueFX technology for a life-like face and added collectability!
- Fans can recreate signature moves with 14 points of articulation for dynamic posing!
- Reenact favorite WWE Main Event matches or create new rivalries and moves for play and display!
- WWE fans can find their favorite Superstar figure or can collect them all (each sold separately, subject to availability).
For these highlights, the editorial criteria are the comic surprise of the target, the humiliation built into the move, and the story context that can be supported. On that basis, Cena is the strongest documented single match; McMahon and The Rock are supported as recipients, though their specific segments are less fully identified in the official material.
