The public Restream pricing page lists three prices: Free at $0, Standard at $19 per month and Professional at $49 per month. Those are the USD amounts shown on the page, not verified India-specific prices. The reviewed pages do not say whether checkout in India displays a different currency or includes applicable taxes. Check the live pricing and checkout screens before subscribing rather than treating a converted rupee estimate as Restream’s India price.
Restream’s published plan comparison also lists Business and Enterprise tiers. The cited comparison gives Business a limit of eight simultaneous channels but does not establish its price; Enterprise supports 25 or more channels and is described as a custom tier, with customers directed to Sales. Check the current page for details because plan terms can change.
Which Restream plan can handle YouTube streaming?
If YouTube is your only destination, one channel is within the Free plan’s listed two-channel limit. The decision is less about whether YouTube is supported and more about whether the free plan’s branding and Studio limits work for your stream.

Restream’s Help Center says Free supports streaming to two channels, browser-based Studio, third-party software such as OBS, multi-chat, analytics and scheduled events. Free streams include Restream branding. It also lists up to five guests on Free Studio and up to nine on paid plans. Paid features include branding removal, Full HD in Studio, more destinations, additional guests and recordings; Facebook Pages and custom RTMP destinations require a paid plan. How to decide if Free is enough for a YouTube channel
- Number of destinations: If you are streaming only to YouTube, the listed two-channel limit is sufficient. If you need more destinations at once, compare the plan limits in the table.
- Branding: Free streams carry Restream branding. Standard is the first listed tier that removes it.
- Studio quality: Full HD streaming through Restream Studio is listed as a Professional feature. This is distinct from streaming through third-party software; confirm the current plan details for the route you intend to use.
- Guests and recordings: Compare the plan’s guest allowance, recording access and storage against your production needs. Restream’s cited free guide lists up to five Studio guests on Free and up to nine on paid plans.
- Paid-only destinations: Facebook Pages and custom RTMP destinations require a paid plan, according to Restream’s comparison.
For a single YouTube destination, upgrading solely to gain more simultaneous channels may not be necessary. The more relevant reasons to pay are removing Restream branding, using Full HD in Restream Studio, or meeting another paid-only feature requirement.

Connect Restream to YouTube and check the stream settings
- Enable YouTube live streaming first. Restream says streaming must be enabled on the YouTube channel. Its guide says YouTube requires phone verification and a 24-hour wait before a first live stream. See Restream’s YouTube connection guide and YouTube’s live-streaming setup help.
- Connect the channel with its owner account. Authorize the YouTube account in Restream. Restream says the account connecting the channel must own it; a channel manager or editor cannot add it.
- Choose a streaming route. Restream supports Studio in a browser and third-party software such as OBS on Free. Check plan limits before choosing Studio features or additional destinations.
- Set encoder parameters for YouTube. Restream’s guide recommends H.264 video, CBR rate control and a two-second keyframe interval. It lists frame rates up to 60 fps and resolutions from 240p to 2160p. These are recommendations, not a guarantee that every connection, encoder or Restream plan will deliver a given resolution or frame rate.
- Start the stream and verify it in YouTube. Confirm the live preview and status in YouTube before sharing the link. Restream reports that YouTube archives are limited to streams under 12 hours; plan separate sessions if you need a longer broadcast.
