Rashida Jones and Ezra Koenig attended the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on March 10 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California. Entertainment coverage called their joint appearance rare, but the available reporting does not establish a count of how often they have appeared together.
Where and when they appeared together
Getty Images/WireImage’s caption for the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party identifies Jones and Koenig among the attendees. The event was hosted by Radhika Jones and took place March 10, 2024, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
What “rare” means in this coverage
“Rare” is a qualitative description used in entertainment reporting, not a measured frequency. The available accounts do not provide a complete tally of the couple’s public appearances. Vanity Fair’s 2018 coverage described them as private about their relationship, while also noting that they regularly attended events together at that time. That 2018 account is a snapshot, not a comprehensive history of their appearances since then.
There was no direct quote from either attendee about the Oscar-party appearance in the cited coverage. A separate 2024 report relayed Jones’s relationship comment to The New Yorker: “We’re not married,” she said, adding that they call each other married. It was relationship context, not a comment about the party.
