O que Ana Paula respondeu
Em entrevista ao programa Sala de TV, Ana Paula negou ter contado a Marlene sobre o projeto. A imprensa reproduziu a seguinte declaração: “Eu não fiz isso. E outra coisa: quem era minha amiga? A Xuxa! Obviamente que eu procuraria a Xuxa, não procuraria a Marlene”. A fala foi publicada pela POPline e pelo Metrópoles, em 27 de setembro de 2024.
Ela também explicou que parou de ir às reuniões quando passou a achar que o projeto não estava seguindo uma direção adequada. Segundo os relatos da entrevista, Ana Paula disse ainda que perguntou a Lenice, secretária de Marlene, quem havia contado sobre o projeto, mas não recebeu o nome.
