“Most famous” is subjective: QPR has no published ranking or comparable measure of celebrity supporters. These six are prominent names from a longer list, not a definitive top six. The evidence for their connection to the club also varies: two have specific descriptions from QPR or Sky Sports, while the other four are listed as supporters in a club-history reference.
Six prominent QPR celebrity supporters
Pete Doherty
The musician was described by Queens Park Rangers as a “lifelong Rangers fan” in the club’s announcement of his attendance at a 2025 charity match. That is the club’s characterization; it does not establish how often he attends matches. QPR’s announcement
Bill Bailey
The comedian and musician is a QPR supporter. A Sky Sports profile calls him a “long-standing fan of Queens Park Rangers”; that phrase is the publisher’s description, not a direct quotation from Bailey. Sky Sports’ Bill Bailey profile
Louis Theroux
The documentary-maker appears in the QPR celebrity-supporter list. The available listing does not provide a direct quotation or a specific match-going anecdote.

Robert Smith
The Cure frontman is named as a QPR supporter in the club-history reference. The listing does not establish how frequently he attends matches or provide a first-person statement about his support.
Mick Jones
The Clash guitarist is included among QPR’s celebrity supporters. The club-history page also notes his QPR support when discussing the band’s connection with football culture.
Rank #2
Ian Gillan
The Deep Purple singer is another musician named in the QPR celebrity-supporter list. That listing identifies him as a supporter but does not provide a direct quotation or further detail about his involvement.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why these six are not a definitive ranking
The QPR club-history page names a wider range of public figures, including Glen Matlock, Andrew Ridgeley, Nick Cave, Michael Gove, Alan Johnson, Martin Clunes, former England cricketer Alex Tudor and Robin Askwith. Its list draws on earlier secondary coverage and is not a systematic survey. It offers no ranking, audience poll or shared measure of fame that would establish which six supporters are the most famous. QPR club-history page and references

- Classic Football Jersey, made from high-quality fabric, machine washable, and quick-drying.
- Soft and comfortable to the touch, with slight stretch, moderate length, and a loose, breathable mesh polyester material.
- Perfect for school uniforms, parties, hip-hop performances, football teams, dance teams, beach holidays, and more.
The distinction in the evidence matters: Doherty and Bailey have specific, attributed descriptions of their support, while the other four are named in the broader list. A listing alone does not prove regular attendance or current activity, so the names are best understood as well-known people associated with QPR rather than a ranked measure of fandom.
