Pusha T and Virginia Williams married on July 21, 2018, at Virginia Beach’s Cavalier Hotel, celebrating with 150 guests, a ceremony shaped by the venue’s grand architecture, and a reception that mixed designer fashion with local touches. The day brought together family, friends and high-profile figures including Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West; Pusha’s brother, Gene “No Malice” Thornton, officiated, and Pharrell Williams served as best man.
A Virginia Beach wedding rooted in home
Terrence Thornton, known professionally as Pusha T, and Virginia Williams married on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach, the couple’s hometown. Vogue described Williams as Pusha’s girlfriend of 11 years at the time. Pusha told Vogue that he first noticed her across the room at the Hell Hath No Fury album release party in Norfolk: “I saw her from across the room at the Hell Hath No Fury album release party in Norfolk, Virginia, and the rest is history!”
Williams said the couple wanted guests arriving from elsewhere to experience their home region: “We also wanted to show off Virginia Beach to friends who are coming from afar and have added Virginia flare in the details of the wedding day.” Us Weekly reproduced that remark from an interview with Brides.

Vogue reported that 150 guests attended. Among those it named were Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West; the report is not a complete guest list. Pusha’s brother Gene “No Malice” Thornton officiated, while Pharrell Williams was best man.

Pusha T’s Dior dinner jacket
Pusha wore a Dior dinner jacket with black tuxedo pants designed by Kim Jones, then Dior Men artistic director. He told Vogue: “I’ve been a fan of Dior for a while now,” adding, “And with Kim recently appointed as artistic director, it was a no-brainer! I wanted to keep it classic, but play on the time and location of the wedding so I paired my black tuxedo pants with an off-white jacket.” Jones said: “Pusha reached out to me about his wedding suit in such a nice way that it was a pleasure for me to make it for him,” and, “He knew exactly what he was looking for!”
