What was visible behind Prince Harry?
In a video-conference appearance, Harry sat in front of white shelves. A framed image behind him appeared to show him and Meghan in their wedding attire, according to a report by Janine Henni for People, republished by Yahoo Entertainment. Harry also wore a red poppy on his lapel.

The wedding-photo description is an inference from the image as reported, not an independent authentication. The report gives no explanation for the photograph’s placement or evidence that Harry intended it as a message to the meeting.
Why was Harry speaking to NATO?
Harry addressed NATO’s Military Committee by video teleconference about the Invictus Games Foundation’s mission. The Foundation delegation attended in person. The Foundation post dated October 31, 2024, reproduced in the report, said: “Yesterday, the #InvictusGames Foundation was given the opportunity to brief NATO’s Military Committee at @NATO Headquarters”.

The briefing concerned the Foundation’s work supporting wounded, injured, and sick service members through sport. The report identifies NATO Headquarters as being in Berlin, Germany.
How does the meeting relate to the Invictus Games?
Harry launched the Invictus Games in 2014 as an international adaptive sports competition for wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans. The Games use sport as a means of healing. The Foundation’s programming also extends beyond the biennial competition, so its work is broader than staging the event alone.

The wedding referred to in the report took place on May 19, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. The meeting appearance occurred on October 30, 2024; the Foundation post describing the briefing was dated the following day.
