क्लाउड सर्वर से पहले से रिकॉर्ड किया हुआ वीडियो YouTube Live पर चलाने के लिए सर्वर पर encoder या playout process चलना चाहिए, जो वीडियो को YouTube के ingest URL और सही stream key पर भेजे। केवल वीडियो को सर्वर पर अपलोड करने या YouTube पर event schedule करने से प्रसारण शुरू नहीं होता। नीचे self-managed server का पूरा सुरक्षित workflow, launch steps और आम connection समस्याओं के उपाय दिए गए हैं।
पहले तय करें: playout कौन चलाएगा?
YouTube Live को encoder से आने वाला live ingest stream चाहिए। वीडियो पहले रिकॉर्ड किया हुआ हो सकता है, लेकिन encoder उसे लगातार YouTube तक भेजता है। क्लाउड सर्वर इस प्रक्रिया को दूर से चलाने की जगह है—वह अपने-आप वीडियो नहीं चलाता।
- Self-managed cloud server: आप cloud host पर compatible encoder या playout software चलाते हैं، media file उपलब्ध कराते हैं और process तथा network connection की निगरानी करते हैं। इससे configuration पर नियंत्रण मिलता है; server और playout process चालू रखने की जिम्मेदारी भी आपकी है।
- Managed cloud playout: सेवा prerecorded video को YouTube तक भेजने के लिए cloud playout देती है। YouTube की encoder directory में Gyre को prerecorded videos के 24/7 YouTube streaming के लिए cloud-based tool के रूप में सूचीबद्ध किया गया है। यह directory listing सेवा की मौजूदा कीमत, plan limits या performance की पुष्टि नहीं करती।
- Hardware encoder: यह cloud VPS से अलग विकल्प है। YouTube की directory AJA HELO Plus को standalone H.264 encoder बताती है और उसके PlayToStream function के लिए कहती है कि वह prerecorded media को schedule करके बिना computer के YouTube Live पर stream कर सकता है। यह vendor-directory विवरण है, स्वतंत्र product test नहीं।

YouTube Live event बनाएँ या schedule करें
- YouTube Studio खोलें और Create → Go Live चुनें। तुरंत प्रसारण की तैयारी के लिए stream बनाएं, या बाद के समय के लिए Manage → Schedule stream चुनें। Interface labels बदल सकते हैं, इसलिए अपने Studio में उपलब्ध वर्तमान विकल्प देखें।
- YouTube Studio में title, audience, privacy और बाकी stream details सेट करें। Scheduled event से share करने योग्य event URL और दर्शकों के लिए reminders मिल सकते हैं। YouTube Help के अनुसार age-related default privacy अलग हो सकती है; streamer privacy setting बदल सकता है।
- Event तैयार होने पर Live Control Room में उसी event को खोलें। याद रखें, scheduling सिर्फ event बनाती है—encoder को वीडियो भेजना फिर भी जरूरी है।
RTMPS URL और stream key कहाँ मिलेंगे?
- Live Control Room में event की Stream settings खोलें।
- Stream URL और stream key कॉपी करें। अगर RTMPS इस्तेमाल करना है, YouTube Help के अनुसार Stream URL के पास lock icon चुनकर RTMPS URL देखा जा सकता है। Encoder में URL और key उसी event से लें; पुराने tutorial का hard-coded address न मानें।
- Stream URL और key को cloud server पर चल रहे encoder या playout software में दर्ज करें। असली key को screenshot، public script یا shared log में न दिखाएं—यह stream तक पहुँच دینے والا credential ہے۔
RTMPS، RTMP का secure extension है। Google का RTMPS ingestion documentation कहता है कि connection ingestion server के port 443 पर बनना चाहिए और custom TLS client में SNI hostname सही होना जरूरी है। YouTube की RTMPS guide में URL, key और SSL error checks हैं; transport detail के लिए Google for Developers का RTMPS ingestion guide देखें।

Cloud server पर prerecorded playout configure करें
सटीक commands और settings encoder software तथा cloud provider पर निर्भर हैं। यहाँ किसी खास FFmpeg command, OBS setup, VM size या restart recipe को tested बताने का आधार नहीं है, इसलिए provider-specific command को बिना अपने encoder के निर्देशों के लागू न करें। Conceptual setup यह है:
- Media उपलब्ध कराएँ: prerecorded file को cloud process के लिए upload करें या ऐसी storage से उपलब्ध कराएँ जिसे वह process पढ़ सके। सुनिश्चित करें कि चुना हुआ software file format चला सकता है।
- Playout और ingest सेट करें: encoder को file चलाने और उसका output Live Control Room से मिले YouTube URL तथा उसी stream key पर भेजने के लिए configure करें। RTMPS supported हो तो RTMPS URL इस्तेमाल करें।
- Process और connection चालू रखें: cloud server पर encoder/playout process और outbound network connection पूरे broadcast के दौरान चलने चाहिए। Cloud server लेना encoder चलाने की जरूरत खत्म नहीं करता।
- Logs और preview देखें: encoder logs में connection या sending errors की निगरानी करें और Live Control Room में आने वाले preview की पुष्टि करें।
Preview से public broadcast तक
- Scheduled event के लिए पहले cloud encoder शुरू करें और उसे YouTube ingest तक stream भेजने दें।
- Live Control Room में preview आने तक प्रतीक्षा करें। YouTube की documented scheduled workflow में preview के बाद Go live चुनना होता है; सिर्फ encoder connect होने से scheduled event अपने-आप public हो जाएगा, ऐसा न मानें।
- प्रसारण समाप्त होने पर encoder का sending process रोकें और Live Control Room में event समाप्त करें।
YouTube Help कहता है कि 12 घंटे से कम की सभी streams अपने-आप archive होंगी। इस कथन से 12 घंटे या उससे लंबे प्रसारण के archive होने की गारंटी नहीं मिलती।
