The film’s ending turns three separate historical hunts into part of a larger Yautja collection: the surviving warriors are forced into an arena, Ursa sacrifices herself and is returned to cryostasis, and a final reveal shows Prey’s Naru among the captives. That links the stories without confirming a specific sequel or crossover.
What happens at the end of Predator: Killer of Killers?
The film’s Viking, feudal-Japan and World War II stories converge after the human survivors awaken from suspended animation on an unfamiliar planet. Their Yautja captors force them into a gladiatorial contest. The warriors cooperate to escape the immediate trap, but Ursa gives herself up to help the others.
The Yautja do not kill Ursa on screen. They place her back into cryostasis. The final image reveals another captive in the collection: Naru, the Comanche warrior played by Amber Midthunder in Prey. The reveal makes the earlier stories feel connected by the Yautja’s interest in formidable opponents, rather than by a single shared historical moment. Bloody Disgusting’s June 2025 ending report describes Naru as the film’s final image.
Why is Naru in a cryo-pod, and is she alive?
Naru’s presence implies that the Yautja have gathered capable fighters from different times and places. The film does not explain the full purpose, history or limits of that collection, so it is more accurate to treat the cryo-bay as evidence of a broader practice than as a complete account of Yautja policy.
#1 Best Overall
- Complete Predator franchise collection featuring all six films on Blu-ray.
- Includes Predator, Predator 2, Predators, The Predator, Prey, and Badlands.
- Presented in high-definition Blu-ray with enhanced picture and audio quality.
- Region Free Blu-ray compatible with players worldwide.
- Essential box set for fans of sci-fi, action, and franchise collectors.
The image shows Naru preserved in a pod, not killed. It therefore leaves her available for a future story, but does not establish when she was captured, what happened to her after Prey, or whether she will return. Those details remain unanswered by the ending.
What does the later end-credits scene add?
The Naru reveal and the expanded credits scene are separate beats. The June 2025 coverage describes Naru as the ending’s final image. The Associated Press later reported that a new end-credits scene was added after the film’s Comic-Con presentation: it shows an expansive cryogenic prison containing human protagonists from the first two Predator films and Prey. This broadens the collection beyond the characters in the main ending. The AP report does not establish exactly how or when that added scene was rolled out across every territory or platform. The Associated Press reported on the added scene.

- The epic Predator legacy continues with this action-thriller set in the Comanche Nation. When Naru, a fierce and highly skilled young warrior, sets out to protect her people, the prey she stalks turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator â leading to a vicious and terrifying showdown.
When does the final segment take place?
The film does not give the fourth segment a specific year. Director Dan Trachtenberg explained in an interview reproduced by Alien vs. Predator Galaxy: “I very specifically didn’t label a year because I didn’t want to paint myself into that corner. But I do think Torres was asleep for quite some time.” The supported takeaway is that Torres has been asleep for a long time; assigning the segment a calendar date would go beyond what the director stated.
Does the ending set up Predator: Badlands or a sequel?
Trachtenberg has described the Naru reveal as a possibility for what might happen after Predator: Badlands, not as setup for the events of that film. In Bloody Disgusting, he said: “So, it is not a setup for what’s in Badlands, but it is a setup for what could happen afterward.” That points to an open door, not an announced Naru sequel, crossover or confirmed plot.

In the same interview reported by Alien vs. Predator Galaxy, Trachtenberg discussed possible sequel opportunities and the idea that animated and live-action characters could cross formats if the films succeed. These are possibilities he raised, not a confirmed production plan. D23’s coverage of Predator: Badlands describes that film as centered on young Yautja Dek and discusses the franchise’s ability to shift genres; it does not announce Naru’s next appearance.

- Predator 5-Movie Collection: Experience five times the terror with this killer collection of action-packed Predator movies! From Predator to Prey, you can't hide from the most lethal, unstoppable extraterrestrial being that hunts humans for sport.
The ending’s clear franchise effect is connective: it places the anthology’s survivors and familiar characters within a larger Yautja arena and collection. It does not prove that every Predator story will converge in one installment, or settle the captives’ eventual fates.
