What really happened to Greta?
Greta wants a divorce and a life beyond the funeral home. A film crew’s presence gives her a chance to pursue makeup work in Miami, and she asks Charlie to leave with her. The next morning, Fred says Greta has gone, but he cannot say where she is, and she is not answering messages. His account makes Charlie suspicious.
Charlie finds evidence at the funeral home that leads her to suspect Greta was killed there, and she confronts Fred. The twist is that Greta survived and reached Miami: Tommy receives a photo from her. Fred’s account misleads Charlie, but the recap says he believed Greta had left with the film crew. The episode’s reveal is Greta’s survival, not Fred murdering her.

What Katie Holmes said about Greta
Holmes summed up the character’s hopes in a Los Angeles Times interview: “Poor Greta,” Holmes says, thinking about her character. “She had so much hope.” The interview also describes a nighttime beach-party scene in which Greta sings and dances to Anita Ward’s “Ring My Bell.” Lyonne directed the episode and recalled Holmes and Esposito performing together, saying Holmes was “so game.”
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Where the episode fits in Poker Face
Poker Face is a mystery-of-the-week series centered on Charlie Cale, whose unusual ability lets her detect lies. “Last Looks” uses that premise to turn Greta’s disappearance into a question of what Fred knows and what Charlie can prove. Peacock’s Season 2 interview described the first three episodes as streaming exclusively on the service at launch; that launch-period statement does not establish present availability in every region.
