What is in a 30th Celebration booster pack?
According to Pokémon’s June 30 product showcase, each booster pack contains five foil cards, including one of 30 unique Pikachu illustrations, plus one foil Basic Energy card. Pokémon’s August 18 reveal also says every booster pack has a Pikachu card. The 30 Pikachu cards feature distinct illustrations, artists, and attacks. What makes the expansion different?
Classic cards and new artwork
The set pairs new cards with a Classic Collection that highlights iconic cards from the Pokémon TCG’s past three decades. Its new artwork also takes a day-and-night theme, depicting Pokémon across both settings. The official launch announcement describes these themes alongside the Pikachu rares. Multiple Pikachu illustrations
The 30 Pikachu cards are a defined feature of the expansion, rather than a single anniversary promo. Pokémon says each has a distinct illustration, artist, and attack. The official pack description places one Pikachu card in every booster, while it does not establish pull odds for any particular illustration.
Which 30th Celebration products are available?

Was the anniversary release worldwide at the same time?
Pokémon Card Game’s Japanese announcement said the 2026 anniversary products were planned for simultaneous worldwide release, with regional exceptions and local timing differences. That does not mean every location received products at the same clock time. The announcement also cautioned that later Pokémon TCG products would not all follow a simultaneous global schedule. Pokémon’s cited English launch page gives the total as “over 150 cards,” without specifying an exact count. The official announcements also do not establish retailer prices or stock, print runs, pull rates, resale values, scarcity, or future appreciation. Treat those as separate questions rather than conclusions about the set’s official contents.
