What happens in The Search for Laqua?
Liko, Roy and Dot take on Tera Training at Naranja Academy in Paldea, learning about Terastallization and facing Gym Leaders and the Elite Four. Alongside that new challenge, they continue searching for the Six Hero Pokémon and the legendary land of Laqua.

The Rising Volt Tacklers and the Explorers also remain in pursuit of the black Rayquaza and seek to uncover the secrets of Terapagos. The story’s central tension is the combination of the young trainers’ academy challenge and the larger race toward Laqua.
How many episodes are there?
Pokémon’s official season guide lists 44 episodes, from “Welcome to Naranja Academy!” through “Where the Adventure Leads.” This is the count on the official guide; it does not establish which episodes BBC iPlayer currently has available. Check iPlayer’s own listing for the playable catalogue.
