The launch announcement called the pizzas topped to the edge and made them on the company’s Thin ’N Crispy crust. The current page lists the same four recipe names, but does not say when its seasoning description changed or establish that every launch recipe remains unchanged.

Rachel Antalek, identified in the 2024 announcement as Pizza Hut’s Chief Food Innovation Officer, called the additions part of the company’s culinary mission and described tavern pizza as a trend reflecting excitement in the pizza scene.
