Pete Davidson’s reported marks connected to Kim Kardashian were not all the same thing: Kardashian described several tattoos he got for her, including “MY GIRL IS A LAWYER,” but said the “KIM” on his chest was a branding, not a tattoo. A separate Aladdin-and-Jasmine design above his right collarbone was reported as a likely reference to their on-screen kiss in a 2021 Saturday Night Live sketch.
Which marks were connected to Kim Kardashian?
In a March 2022 interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Kardashian discussed tattoos Davidson had gotten in her honor. Entertainment Tonight reported that she called “My girl is a lawyer” her favorite, and clarified that the “KIM” on his chest was a branding. These were distinct marks, not different descriptions of one tattoo.

What did “My girl is a lawyer” say?
Kardashian called the wording her favorite of Davidson’s tattoos for her. Entertainment Tonight quoted her: “I think my favorite one, it says here, ‘My girl is a lawyer,’ and that one’s really cute.” The Independent reported that she shared a picture of the all-capitals wording, “MY GIRL IS A LAWYER,” on his left clavicle on March 26, 2022.
Was “KIM” on Davidson’s chest a tattoo?
No. Kardashian explicitly distinguished it from his tattoos. Entertainment Tonight reported her clarification: “Yeah he has a few tattoos,” she says. “A few cute ones that he got, but the ‘Kim’ one isn’t a tattoo. It’s a branding.” She also said Davidson wanted a mark he could not remove or cover, while he was having tattoos on his arms and neck removed. That explanation is Kardashian’s account of his reasoning.

What was the Aladdin and Jasmine tattoo about?
The Los Angeles Times linked the design above Davidson’s right collarbone to the October 2021 SNL sketch in which Kardashian and Davidson played Jasmine and Aladdin and kissed on screen. The paper said the tattoo probably commemorated that first kiss. That is the outlet’s interpretation; the cited coverage does not establish a separate explanation from Davidson.
The timing matters: the Los Angeles Times noted the design was visible in images from before its July 2022 article. A later sighting or story describing it as “new” does not by itself show when the tattoo was made.

Are the Kardashian-related marks still there?
El País reported in April 2025 on Davidson’s broader tattoo-removal process and fading tattoos. That report does not establish the current condition of each Kardashian-related mark or the branding. The available reporting therefore does not support saying that all of them were removed—or that all remain.
