Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 premieres on Disney+ on November 20, 2026. Disney first showed a brief Season 3 look midway through the Season 2 finale credits on January 21, saying the new season would arrive “later this year.” The exact date came in July; the official teaser followed at D23 in August. Disney has not announced that the season was moved forward from a later date.
When does Percy Jackson Season 3 come out?
Disney+ has set November 20, 2026, as the premiere date for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3. Disney announced the date on July 23 and repeated it with the official teaser announcement in August. The Disney+ series listing also gives November 20, 2026.
The timing clarifies what Disney meant by “later this year” in January: the season is due in November. The announcements establish a move from a broad release window to a specific date, not a change from an earlier announced date.
What did the first Season 3 sneak peek show?
The first look appeared midway through the credits of the Season 2 finale, released January 21, 2026. Disney described it as a “surprise first look” and said the series would return later that year. That credits scene was an initial glimpse, not the full teaser trailer released months later. Disney+ Press announced the first look and broad timing.

What is Season 3 about?
Season 3 adapts The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series. Disney’s series description says Annabeth has been captured by forces loyal to Kronos. Percy sets out to rescue her and free a goddess in chains while confronting the Titan’s curse and trying to prevent the fall of Olympus. Disney announced the renewal and adaptation in March 2025. The book is the direct literary companion to the season’s story: The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan is the third installment of the series the show is adapting.

Was the release sooner than expected?
Disney’s announcement history does not establish that Season 3 will arrive earlier than a previously confirmed date. In January, the company said only “later this year”; in July, it specified November 20. Without an earlier official date—or documented evidence of audience expectations—“sooner than expected” is not a confirmed change in schedule.
