What album was the tour supporting?
The tour supported Dark Matter, Pearl Jam’s twelfth studio album, released April 19, 2024, through Monkeywrench Records, Republic Records and Universal Music Canada. Andrew Watt produced the album. The band recorded at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu in 2023, with the official announcement describing the writing and recording as taking place in a three-week burst. The album announcement gives the recording context and track list.
The 11 tracks, in sequence, are “Scared of Fear,” “React, Respond,” “Wreckage,” “Dark Matter,” “Won’t Tell,” “Upper Hand,” “Waiting for Stevie,” “Running,” “Something Special,” “Got to Give” and “Setting Sun.” Its cover uses light painting by Alexandr Gnezdilov: long-exposure photography made with a light source and a large, self-made kaleidoscope, according to Universal Music Canada.

The 2024 notice said eligible paid Ten Club members could request a Ticketmaster presale. Universal Music Canada’s 2024 announcement cited more than 85 million albums sold worldwide for Pearl Jam and more than $50 million raised by the Vitalogy Foundation. Those are career and foundation figures, respectively—not tour attendance, ticket sales or revenue. The cited sources do not establish the Dark Matter tour’s attendance, gross or ticket-sales total.
