When did Patrick and Monique Cripps announce their first baby?
The couple shared the news at Carlton’s Hall of Fame dinner in Melbourne. PerthNow reported the announcement on 19 March 2024 and said they were expecting a girl in early April. Monique described being unwell during the first half of her pregnancy, then feeling better. The report attributed her comments to an interview with The Herald Sun.
“I feel good now. I was really sick for the first half,” Monique said. She also said, “I’m due early April – we’ll make sure we don’t (miss a game) unless I go early.” PerthNow’s 19 March 2024 report covered the announcement and expected due date.

Carlton reported the arrival of Patrick and Monique’s daughter, Koda Sophie Cripps, in April 2024. In the club’s 4 April account, Patrick said he had thought the birth would happen the following week. “I was a bit nervous, I thought the birth was going to come next week. To Mon’s credit, she played her role very nicely,” he said with a laugh. Carlton’s report described the birth and Patrick’s return to play.

Are Patrick and Monique expecting another baby?
