How to read Anderson’s relationship history
Public accounts of Anderson’s love life vary in how well they are supported. Some details come from her memoir and interviews; others come from named or anonymous reporting. A reported romance is not necessarily a relationship she has confirmed, and a public friendship or rumor does not establish that two people dated.
Anderson’s documentary Pamela, a Love Story draws on her home videos, photographs, journals and recollections, offering her perspective rather than an independent record of every date or legal event. Netflix describes the film’s materials and approach in its documentary overview; the Associated Press also reviewed it as a chance for Anderson to tell her story. Her memoir, Love, Pamela, is identified as a memoir by its publisher, Simon & Schuster.

Anderson and actor Scott Baio reportedly dated for about three years, during the early period of her television career. Claims that he proposed come from Baio and should be treated as his account, not an independently established event.

Anderson reportedly dated her Baywatch co-star David Charvet for about two years. The available chronology does not establish precise start and end dates.
Kelly Slater — on and off in the 1990s
Anderson has described surfer Kelly Slater as her first “big love.” Harper’s Bazaar places their on-and-off relationship in a chronology that includes 1995 and 1998–2000. Anderson also recalled that her relationship with Slater overlapped with meeting and marrying Tommy Lee in 1995; that overlap is her recollection, not a definitive outside chronology.
Tommy Lee — married 1995–1998; later reconciliation
Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee married in Mexico in February 1995 after a very brief courtship. They had two sons, Brandon and Dylan, and divorced in 1998. They tried to reunite in 2008 and were reported to have separated again by 2010. Anderson has since described Lee as a friend and co-parent.
Lee was Anderson’s most prominent and longest-running relationship. In her 2023 memoir, she wrote, “My relationship with Tommy may have been the only time I was ever truly in love.” That is Anderson’s own reflection, not an objective ranking of her relationships.
Marcus Schenkenberg — reported relationship and engagement around 2000–2001
Anderson and model Marcus Schenkenberg were reportedly together around 2000–2001 and became engaged. The sources do not establish a more precise start date; Biography.com reports that they split in 2001.
Kid Rock — dated, then married in 2006
Anderson and musician Kid Rock dated and became engaged in 2002, then split. They reunited and married in 2006. Anderson filed for divorce later that year.
Rick Salomon — two marriages
Anderson married poker player Rick Salomon in 2007; that marriage was annulled in 2008. They married again in 2014 and separated the following year.
Adil Rami — reported relationship, 2017–2019
Anderson and French footballer Adil Rami were publicly associated during his career and separated in 2019. Anderson accused him publicly of living a double life; Rami denied her characterization. Those conflicting statements are allegations and denials, not adjudicated findings.
Jon Peters — brief union announced in 2020; Anderson says they never legally married
Anderson and film producer Jon Peters reconnected in 2019, and their brief union was announced in January 2020 as a marriage. Anderson later said they were never legally married and described Peters as a longtime family friend. That clarification is why the commonly reported marriage count is five marriages to four men, not six to five.
Dan Hayhurst — married 2020–2022
Anderson married Dan Hayhurst, her former bodyguard, in a private ceremony on Vancouver Island in December 2020. They separated in January 2022 and divorced that year.
Liam Neeson — brief relationship after filming, 2025
In July 2025, an anonymous-source report described Anderson and actor Liam Neeson as newly dating. Their warm public comments while promoting The Naked Gun did not themselves confirm a romance. In an interview reported by EL PAÍS on December 9, 2025, Anderson said they had been romantically involved for a short time after filming ended and were now better friends than partners. The later first-person clarification supersedes the earlier framing of Neeson as her current partner.

Sylvester Stallone
Biography.com recounts Anderson’s version of an anecdote about Stallone proposing a “No. 1 girl” arrangement. Stallone’s representative called the attributed statement false and fabricated. Because the account is disputed, it should not be counted as a verified relationship.
More generally, rumored names, flirtation, publicity appearances and anonymous claims are not enough to add someone to a confirmed dating history.
Anderson’s own accounts and the documentary perspective
For Anderson’s perspective, her memoir Love, Pamela and the Netflix documentary Pamela, a Love Story are useful first-person sources. They should be read as her recollections and framing, not as substitutes for corroborating legal records or dates. In a 2023 Vogue interview, Anderson called writing from her perspective “very therapeutic” and “lifesaving.”
The Hulu series Pam & Tommy is a dramatization, not Anderson’s own account. For relationship claims that depend on legal status or disputed chronology, distinguish her statements from outside reporting rather than treating any screen portrayal as documentation.
