Where to rent or buy Paddington in Peru
Digital stores
Sony’s U.S. film page lists Apple TV, Prime Video, Fandango, Verizon Fios, DirecTV and Sony Pictures Core as digital destinations. Microsoft Store and Prime Video listings also show rental and purchase choices.
A rent-or-buy listing is a transactional video-on-demand offer. It does not mean the film is included with a Prime, Microsoft or other subscription, and prices, rental periods and purchase terms can change.

- Paddington, the marmalade-loving bear gets lost in the jungle on an exciting, high-stakes adventure when he returns to visit his Aunt Lucy. With the Brown Family in tow, a thrilling journey ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected escapade through the Amazon rainforest and up to the mountain peaks of Peru.
DVD and Blu-ray retailers
Sony identifies Amazon, Target, Walmart and Barnes & Noble as retailers for the physical editions and currently describes the film as available on Blu-ray and digital. Check the specific listing for the edition, region, subtitles, audio features and current stock before ordering.
Is it streaming on Netflix?
The Associated Press reported that Paddington in Peru arrived on Netflix in the United States on May 15, 2025. Subscription catalogs are temporary and territory-specific, however. A U.S. availability check recorded on September 25, 2026 listed rental or purchase options, so confirm the live Netflix listing before treating the movie as included with a subscription.

Why release dates differ by country
Studios set digital, disc and subscription windows by territory. Local distributors may use different dates, retailers may carry different editions, and a title can leave a subscription catalog while remaining available to rent or buy. The dates above therefore should not be applied automatically to Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia or any other market.
- Search your country’s Apple TV, Prime Video or other local video store for a rent/buy listing.
- Check the local Netflix catalog separately; subscription inclusion is a different right from digital purchase.
- For a disc, verify the retailer’s region, format and delivery date rather than relying on the U.S. street date.
What is the film about?
Sony Pictures’ official synopsis says: “When Paddington discovers his beloved Aunt Lucy has gone missing from the Home for Retired Bears, he and the Brown family head to the wilds of Peru to look for her.”
