La orden de arresto contra Jakkaphong “Anne” Jakrajutatip se emitió después de que faltara, el 25 de noviembre de 2025, a una audiencia de lectura de fallo en Bangkok. Por qué se emitió la orden de arresto
El 25 de noviembre de 2025, Jakrajutatip no se presentó a una lectura de fallo programada ante el Bangkok South District Court y, según la información del tribunal citada por Associated Press (AP), no avisó que faltaría. El tribunal emitió una orden de arresto y reprogramó la audiencia para el 26 de diciembre. AP informó sobre la orden el 26 de noviembre de 2025.
La orden respondió a su incomparecencia ante el tribunal. No debe confundirse con la condena posterior: la primera fue una medida relacionada con la audiencia; la segunda fue el fallo sobre el caso de fraude.
De qué trataba el caso de bonos de JKN
El demandante, el inversionista Raweewat Maschamadol, alegó que fue inducido a invertir en bonos corporativos de JKN en 2023 sin conocer información relevante sobre la situación de la empresa. Atribuyó a esa operación una pérdida de 30 millones de baht. El fallo reportado posteriormente hizo que el asunto dejara de ser solo una acusación. El 26 de diciembre de 2025, el tribunal declaró culpables de fraude conjunto a Jakrajutatip y a JKN Global Group. Khaosod English vinculó el fraude condenado con los 30 millones de baht —aproximadamente US$930,000 según esa nota de 2025— y reportó las penas. Qué tiene que ver Miss Universo —y qué no
La conexión con el certamen es corporativa: JKN adquirió los derechos de Miss Universo en 2022 y en 2023 vendió el 50 por ciento de sus acciones del concurso a Legacy Holding Group USA. AP informó que Jakrajutatip renunció a sus cargos en JKN en junio de 2025 y que entonces seguía siendo su mayor accionista. La actualización sobre el congelamiento de activos de JKN
Un aviso de la Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC tailandesa), fechado el 25 de diciembre de 2025, reportó una prórroga judicial de 180 días para el congelamiento de activos en el caso JKN, contados desde el 23 de junio de 2026. El aviso trata de activos de la empresa y de una medida regulatoria; no demuestra que Jakrajutatip haya sido arrestada ni que se haya ejecutado su condena. La SEC tailandesa publicó el aviso sobre la prórroga.
