What is Season 5 about?
The season’s central case is the murder of the Arconia’s doorman. A contemporaneous Associated Press preview describes Charles, Mabel and Oliver investigating his death. That premise sets the trio back to work on a building-centered mystery; the available season description does not establish the killer or motive, so those details are best left unspoiled. Be careful with current show-page summaries: Hulu’s listing has moved on to Season 6 and describes a different case, involving Cinda Canning and a trip to London. That is not a synopsis of Season 5. Hulu’s current series page reflects the later season.
