Its published plans support between two and 50 simultaneous destinations, but the right fit depends on more than that cap: resolution, stream duration, storage, bandwidth, and whether you need playlists or continuous YouTube playback all matter. The features and prices below are vendor-published information, not independent performance-test results.
What OneStream Live does
OneStream Live distributes live or prerecorded content to social platforms and custom destinations. The vendor says it supports more than 45 social and web destinations; the exact list and platform authorization requirements can change, so confirm that your intended services are supported and available on your plan before subscribing. Its documented workflows are a browser-based Live Studio, an external encoder such as OBS Studio or vMix, and scheduled prerecorded video. OneStream’s product overview
Browser-based Live Studio
The Studio is intended for producing a live broadcast in a browser. OneStream describes guest invitations, branding, portrait mode, media sharing, and support for up to four connected cameras. Its FAQ says guests can join through a shared link without creating a OneStream account or installing software. These are vendor-described capabilities; the available information does not establish comparative ease of use or performance in particular browsers. OneStream Live Studio
A webcam is optional rather than a stated requirement: the Studio also describes media sharing. Check your browser and camera configuration if you plan to use a particular camera; compatibility with every model is not established.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
External encoder
Creators who already produce in OBS Studio or vMix can use an external-encoder workflow and route the stream through OneStream for distribution. That can preserve an existing production setup while centralizing delivery to multiple destinations. OneStream’s streaming methods
Scheduled prerecorded video
OneStream’s help material says prerecorded videos can be scheduled up to 60 days ahead, organized in playlists, and looped for continuous 24/7 streaming on YouTube. These functions are distinct from its real-time Studio and encoder workflows: they suit prepared programming, not a live camera feed. Scheduling and streaming methods

How to get started
OneStream’s documented first-stream sequence is to connect destinations, choose a workflow, and configure a live stream or schedule. This is the vendor’s setup guidance, not an independent onboarding-time assessment. OneStream’s first-stream guide
- Connect your destinations. Link the social accounts or configure the custom destinations you intend to use. Check that the platforms you need are supported and that the selected plan permits enough concurrent destinations.
- Choose the workflow. Use Live Studio for browser-based production, an external encoder if your production is already in OBS Studio or vMix, or prerecorded scheduling for uploaded video.
- Configure and publish. For a live workflow, set up the stream and its destinations. For prerecorded content, upload and schedule the video or arrange it in a playlist. Review the plan’s resolution and duration limits before going live.

Is the free plan enough?
The vendor describes its Free plan as available indefinitely, but it has meaningful operating limits. Its help page lists 720p maximum resolution, two simultaneous destinations, 1 GB of storage, and 60-day retention for uploaded videos. Prerecorded streams are limited to 15 minutes, while real-time Studio or encoder streams are limited to one hour. The help page also says Free lacks captions or subtitles and playlists, as well as some Studio features. OneStream’s Free-plan details

For a short test or occasional modest-resolution broadcast, those constraints may be acceptable. If you need a longer real-time session, scheduled playlists, higher resolution, or more storage, compare the specific plan limits rather than treating the $0 price as equivalent to a full-featured trial.

- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
- Occasional short streams: Free offers two destinations and 720p, but the stated one-hour real-time cap and lack of playlists can rule it out for longer or automated programming.
- One-person, lower-resolution production: Basic raises the simultaneous destination allowance to five and storage to 5 GB; its listed maximum remains 720p.
- Small teams needing 1080p: Standard lists 1080p, four seats, and ten destinations. Compare its bandwidth and storage against your publishing schedule.
- More destinations or collaborators: Professional lists 30 destinations and six seats; Enterprise lists 50 and ten. Choose based on actual distribution and team needs, then verify custom RTMP access and platform availability for the selected plan.
- Prepared continuous YouTube programming: The prerecorded workflow’s playlists and 24/7 looping are central. Check the plan’s schedule, storage, and any applicable add-on terms before relying on it for an always-on channel.
Alternatives: compare the workflow, not just the brand
The available product information does not support a fair feature-by-feature ranking of OneStream against named competitors such as Restream or StreamYard. Instead, compare alternatives against the requirements that determine whether a multistreaming service will work for your production:
- How many destinations can run at once, and is custom RTMP supported on the plan you would buy?
- Can it schedule prerecorded video, create playlists, or loop continuously—and on which platforms?
- Does it offer a browser studio, guests, cameras, overlays, and screen or media sharing if you need those tools?
- What resolution, stream duration, bandwidth, storage, and team-seat limits apply?
- What is the recurring cost for the billing interval you want, and which capabilities require add-ons?
- Are the specific social platforms and account types you use currently supported?
For a different use case—keeping a YouTube channel live around the clock from uploaded videos—StreamNeo is the first option to consider: it runs from the cloud, supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and includes a free first day. It is a YouTube-only service for uploaded-video streaming, not a multistreaming platform or a camera-based live studio. See StreamNeo for its service details.
What the published information does not establish
OneStream’s official materials document product modes, plan capacities, and setup guidance. They do not establish uptime, latency, stream quality under load, typical support responsiveness, or comparative value against competing services. The feature descriptions and capacities in this review should therefore be read as vendor-published information rather than independent test results. Destination integrations and platform authorization rules can also change, so confirm the current details for your accounts before committing to a workflow.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is specifically an always-on YouTube channel built from uploaded videos, StreamNeo replaces the home-computer loop with a cloud workflow:
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
- Upload your recording or build a playlist.
- Add your YouTube stream key once.
- Go live; StreamNeo loops the uploaded content from the cloud.
Nothing has to stay on at home. Each slot streams your upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price regardless of quality. Automatic recovery is included if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card; after that, the monthly option is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo also offers daily, weekly, six-month, and yearly billing; UPI and cards are available in India, with card checkout worldwide. Start the free day at StreamNeo signup.
