When did the Egghead arc finale air?
Toei Animation’s October 28, 2025 announcement said Egghead would conclude at the end of December 2025. That made the finale date part of a schedule announced in advance—not an upcoming event for viewers reading this now. ONE PIECE.com’s announcement described the arc as nearing its climax and set Elbaph for April 2026.
What was the 2026 hiatus schedule?
Toei announced a three-month production hiatus from January through March 2026, with the new schedule beginning in April. The announcement also set an annual ceiling of 26 episodes starting in 2026. That is a maximum, not a guarantee that the series will produce exactly 26 episodes in every year. Toei Animation’s English press release states the schedule and cap.
When did the Elbaph arc start?
The Elbaph arc began on April 5, 2026, ending the planned three-month break. Toei and Crunchyroll announced that date for the simulcast. Crunchyroll availability named in the announcement covered the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America; it should not be read as a worldwide service listing. When did the Egghead English dub finish?
The English dub followed a separate release schedule from the Japanese broadcast. Crunchyroll scheduled the final Egghead dub batch, episodes 1144–1155, to begin March 24, 2026. That date was not the Japanese-language Egghead finale date. The English announcement includes the dub batch details.

The official franchise site lists episode 1180 as broadcast on September 27, 2026. A report published the following day said the anime would return in 2027, attributing that year to an official account; it did not give a specific return date. Treat 2027 as the reported return year, not a confirmed day or month. The official episode listing records episode 1180, and the September 28 report gives the return-year claim.
