Spoilers for the Elbaph storyline: The fruit behind the “destroy the world” headline is Elbaph’s legendary Devil Fruit. A discussion of the chapter 1175 spoilers identifies it as Nidhogg and describes a dragon transformation, but that report is not the same as verified chapter dialogue. More importantly, the available evidence does not establish that the fruit literally has the power to destroy the world.
Which Devil Fruit is the headline referring to?
It is the legendary Devil Fruit associated with Elbaph. A chapter 1175 spoiler discussion reports that Jarul identifies it as Nidhogg and says its user becomes a dragon. The discussion is a secondary summary, not official chapter text, so the identification and description should be treated as reported details unless checked against the chapter itself.
The official MANGA Plus series listing and VIZ chapter index provide series and publication context, but their listing pages do not show the relevant dialogue. They therefore cannot independently confirm the spoiler-thread account.
Can the fruit destroy the world?
That exact capability is not established by the material available here. “Will destroy the world” is dramatic framing, not proof of a literal power. A warning or legend within the story, an ability the manga has actually demonstrated, and a reader’s interpretation are different kinds of evidence; they should not be treated as interchangeable.

The spoiler discussion’s reported dragon transformation may invite speculation about the fruit’s scale or danger, but it does not, by itself, show that the user can destroy the world. The chapter’s precise wording and any demonstrated effects are needed to make that stronger claim.
Is it Loki’s fruit, or the Nika/Gum-Gum fruit?
Reader questions often connect the mystery to Loki or ask whether the fruit is the Nika/Gum-Gum fruit. Those are questions and theories, not confirmation. The spoiler discussion instead reports the name Nidhogg, but without the official passage available here, that report should not be used to settle every identity question. The chapter 1169 discussion likewise shows readers debating the legendary fruit and its possible identity; discussion is evidence of fan interpretation, not canon.
Rank #2
What does “Nidhogg” imply?
The spoiler account associates the name with a dragon transformation. Beyond that reported detail, the name alone does not establish the fruit’s full abilities, limits, or consequences in One Piece. Nor should comparisons to figures or creatures from Norse mythology be treated as proof of what the fruit does in the manga.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Where does the Elbaph story fit in the release schedule?
For manga context, MANGA Plus describes One Piece as a manga by Eiichiro Oda and indexes chapters through 1194 on the retrieved listing; VIZ’s index displays chapter publication dates, including chapters 1192 and 1193 in September 2026. These pages can help readers locate official releases, but schedules and what chapters are available can change.
For the anime, Toei Animation announced that the Elbaph arc would begin in Japan on April 5, 2026, and its EMEA article says the anime resumed that day with weekly Sunday episodes. Its service list is territory-specific: it includes Crunchyroll for EMEA, not a universal availability guarantee. Check the current catalog for your region.
