What happens in One Piece chapter 1150?
VIZ lists chapter 1150 with an English release date of June 1, 2025, and the chapter is titled “Domi Reversi.” The available plot synopsis says Imu, controlling Gunko, releases Supreme King Haki and uses Domi Reversi on Brogy, Dorry, and additional members of the Giant Warrior Pirates. Imu then orders Dorry and Brogy to kill Jarul and declare themselves kings of Elbaph. VIZ’s chapter listing identifies the chapter and release date; the plot details come from a secondary chapter synopsis.

Why does the transformation change the Elbaph conflict?
The threat is now inside the community
Elbaph is not simply facing formidable outsiders. The reported transformation turns its own warriors into weapons against their people. That changes the stakes from defeating an invading force to confronting a danger that has compromised the island’s defenders.
The order targets political authority
Imu’s command to kill Jarul and seize kingship makes the transformation a coercive attempt to reorder Elbaph’s leadership. The chapter’s reported events establish an attempted takeover, not that Dorry and Brogy successfully rule the island or that Elbaph’s political future is settled.

Is Imu the “new Demon King” of One Piece?
“Demon King” works as a headline hook for the chapter’s demonic power and Imu’s effort to dominate the giants. It should not be read as a confirmed official title: the available synopsis identifies the technique as Domi Reversi but does not establish that Imu is formally named a Demon King in the chapter. Likewise, what the technique ultimately means, how much agency Gunko retains, and whether the transformed giants can be freed are not settled by the reported events alone.
