Why Robin is caught up in the danger

The threat extends beyond one confrontation
According to the secondary summary, Sommers tells Jarul that the Knights of God intend to turn the giants into soldiers. The reported danger also reaches the children and the island’s educational and cultural institutions. That broadens the crisis from a clash involving individual characters into a threat to Elbaph’s community and what it passes on.
Robin becomes a natural focal point for that wider concern: her immediate safety matters, but so does what her presence represents in a story repeatedly concerned with history and the survival of knowledge. This is a reading of the chapter’s emphasis, not proof that the other Straw Hats matter less.

Is Nico Robin the “most important” Straw Hat here?
“Most important” is a defensible editorial framing for Chapter 1147, not a canonically established ranking. The chapter’s reported events put Robin near a convergence of personal danger, Saul’s injury, and the threat to the children and knowledge institutions. Those overlapping stakes give her a particularly consequential role in this installment.
The distinction matters: a chapter can foreground one character without declaring that character more important than the rest of the crew overall. The stronger claim is that Robin’s history and the threatened institutions make her presence unusually meaningful to Elbaph’s immediate crisis.
