Model and Getahead interviewer Olivia Patmore agreed to go on a date with electrician Mitch after interviewing him for the job-finding app, according to PerthNow’s February 12, 2025 report. Patmore later said they had a lot in common, but the report does not say when the date happened or whether they continued seeing each other.
How the interview turned into a date
PerthNow reported that Patmore was interviewing people for Getahead, a job-finding app, when she spoke with an electrician identified only as Mitch. The conversation began with questions about his work and pay. Mitch told her, “I’m an electrician, I make $65 an hour,” as quoted in the report.
The exchange then shifted from work to a possible date. PerthNow says Mitch asked Patmore whether she wanted to go out. She asked, “Are you serious about the date?” and he replied, “Yeah, if you’re interested.” Patmore agreed.
What Patmore said after the date
PerthNow described two TikTok videos shared by Patmore: one previewing dinner and drinks, and another posted after the date in which she said they had a lot in common. The report does not establish when the interview or date took place, and it does not say what happened between them afterward.

What the $65-an-hour figure does—and doesn’t—mean
The $65 figure is Mitch’s reported statement about his own hourly rate. It is not a verified typical wage for electricians or a labor-market statistic. PerthNow’s story identifies him only as Mitch and does not provide a surname or a more specific job title.
