The promo for “Let Me Bring Pardon” brings Olivia Benson’s team back to Ellie, a woman left in a coma after an earlier assault. When the team learns Ellie is pregnant, the episode raises a disturbing question: was she assaulted while unconscious?
What the “Let Me Bring Pardon” promo reveals
The March 14, 2025 Collider article reproduced in an IMDb news listing describes the episode’s central development: Ellie, who had been in a coma, is discovered to be pregnant. The pregnancy prompts a new investigation into whether someone assaulted her while she was comatose. The promo setup establishes the concern, not the answer; the available account does not identify who, if anyone, committed a second assault. Source: IMDb news listing reproducing Collider’s coverage.
Who may be under suspicion?
The article names hospital staff and Chris Becker as possible suspects in the new investigation. These are leads, not confirmed perpetrators.
Hospital staff
Because Ellie was in a coma, the people with access to her in the hospital become part of the inquiry. The article does not name individual staff members or say that any one of them is responsible.

Chris Becker
Chris, played by Graham Patrick Martin, is Ellie’s former boyfriend. The article says he is jailed for the earlier assault that put Ellie in a coma. That earlier crime is distinct from the unresolved question about what happened during her coma.
How certain is the Season 26, Episode 16 label?
The assignment title identifies this as Season 26, Episode 16, and the captured article headline uses the same label. However, the article excerpt does not independently verify the episode number, and the available official NBC search did not return a confirming listing. Treat “Episode 16” as the supplied headline’s numbering rather than independently confirmed episode-guide information.

The same excerpt labels the earlier episode “Rorschach” as Season 26, Episode 4, but that numbering conflicts with other search-result text. Since the conflict is unresolved, the earlier episode number should not be treated as established. The episode title “Let Me Bring Pardon” and the plot details above are supported by the secondary article; an official listing would be needed to settle the numbering.
