What is the Strands hint for puzzle #255?

The theme clue is “We’re walking.” A more direct hint is to think of creatures that get around on two legs. The puzzle is from November 13, 2024; the date and puzzle number help distinguish it from any later puzzle published on November 13.

What is the Strands spangram for November 13, 2024?

The spangram is BIPEDAL. It describes the theme, and Parade reports that it runs horizontally from right to left across the board.

Spoilers: The six theme words are:

How do you play Strands?

Strands is a letter-path word-search game. Trace adjacent letters to form theme words; the guides describe the answers as non-overlapping. The spangram summarizes the theme and reaches opposite sides of the board. Parade reproduces the New York Times instruction: “Find theme words to fill the board.” It also says found theme words remain highlighted in blue.

WordHint describes this puzzle’s board as 6×8, or 48 letters, and says finding three non-theme words earns an in-game hint that reveals the letters of a theme word. These are instructions reported by the guides and are not a confirmation of current access rules or game behavior.
