How Strands hints and word paths work

Theme words stay highlighted in blue after you find them. Drag or tap letters to form a word; when tapping, double-tap the final letter to submit it. Theme words fill the board without overlapping. The spangram describes the theme, touches two opposite sides of the board, and turns yellow when found.

Finding three words that are not part of the theme earns an in-game hint. A hint reveals letters in a theme word; if a hint is already active, it shows the order of that word’s letters.
