Hints for Strands #204

Try these clues before looking at the answers:

  • Theme clue: “Gnaw-it-alls.”
  • Clue-word examples: PINE, LANE, CHIC, STUD, STUDIO, and MAST.
  • Spangram clue: “House of mouse!”
  • Spangram route: It starts at the right edge in row four and ends at the left edge in row five.

How Strands hints work

Strands is a themed word-search puzzle. The current rules describe a 6×8 letter grid where words can trace paths in any direction. The spangram names the theme and touches two opposite sides of the grid. Finding three valid words that are not theme answers unlocks a hint highlighting one theme word, according to the Strands.Game rules.
