Try these clues in order and stop when you have enough to solve the board.
- Theme: “Back in style” points to clothing and looks associated with a particular decade.
- Directional clue: The first theme word is in the top half of the board.
- Starting letters: The six theme words begin SP, JU, PE, MU, NE, and WI. The spangram begins EI.
In Strands, players find theme words in a letter grid; the spangram describes the theme and connects two opposite sides. Parade reproduces the game instruction as “Find theme words to fill the board.” According to that guide, finding three non-theme words earns a hint: it reveals the letters of a theme word, or its letter order if a hint is already active.
