Spangram and answers
Spangram: LITTLE
Theme words: DEVIL, DIPPER, FOOT, LEAGUE, RASCALS, ROCK, SPOON, WOMEN.
Why the answers fit
Put LITTLE before each word to make a familiar name or phrase: Little Devil, Little Dipper, Little Foot, Little League, Little Rascals, Little Rock, Little Spoon, and Little Women. The pairings range from a constellation and a youth sports organization to a place name and well-known titles or names. “Little spoon” also describes the smaller spoon in a nested-spoon pair.

How Strands hints work
Try Hard Guides describes Strands as a daily, theme-based word-search-style puzzle. Its general guide says that finding three non-theme words of four or more letters unlocks a hint. That is general gameplay guidance, not a reconstruction of the historical #266 interface.
