This is the archived NYT Pips puzzle for Saturday, November 15, 2025. Solutions are listed separately for Easy, Medium, and Hard. Stop at your difficulty level if you want to avoid seeing answers for the other boards.
How to read the placements
Pips is a domino logic puzzle. Place each tile horizontally or vertically while satisfying the clue in each colored region: a Number clue calls for a target pip sum, while an Equal clue requires the pips in that region to match. A region may contain just one half of a domino, so its other half can belong to a different region or an unrestricted space. Uncolored spaces have no regional condition in the Mashable guide.
Each entry below gives the clue label and the tile placements assigned to that region by the answer guide. For example, “2-1 horizontal” identifies the two pip values and the orientation; these listings do not provide a coordinate-by-coordinate map of the board.
Easy answers
The Easy board has four Number regions:

The Hard board lists nine constrained regions:

Want a hint before checking the answers?
Begin with a region or tile position that has the fewest legal placements. Once a move is forced, use it to eliminate candidates elsewhere. If two pieces could swap places, keep both possibilities in view until another clue rules one out; TECHi recommends this general approach for Pips solving.
