Here are the reported NYT Pips placements for Friday, February 13, 2026, for the Easy, Medium and Hard boards. Each list groups dominoes by the condition of the colored region they occupy. Stop before the difficulty you want to solve yourself; the placements below are full spoilers.
The date-specific answer guide covers all three difficulty levels. It gives tile values and orientation together: horizontal means the domino is placed left to right, and vertical means top to bottom. The game is date-specific; a community post identifies it as Pips #180 but notes that numbering can vary by region, so the date is the clearest identifier.
Easy answer

- Less than 4: 2-0, vertical.
- Sum 4: 6-1, horizontal; 2-0, vertical; 5-3, horizontal.
- Sum 5: 5-3, horizontal.
- Equal to 4: 6-4, vertical; 4-5, horizontal.
- Sum 5: 4-5, horizontal.
Medium answer

How to read the placement list
Pips asks players to place dominoes so each colored region meets its rule. A rule may require a target sum, matching values, all different values, or a threshold such as less than or greater than a number. A domino’s orientation matters because its two halves land in different cells; keep the listed order and direction when using these placements.
