Where to play the Mini and find past puzzles
The New York Times describes the Mini as a smaller version of its Crossword. Its Help Center says subscribers can play in the Games app, on the web, and in the News app; past Minis are available through the archive on the web and in the Games app. NYT says Sunday puzzles become available at 6 p.m. EST on Saturday, the evening before their publication date. Subscription terms may change.
As the Times puts it, “The goal is to fill the white squares with letters, forming words or phrases that cross each other, by solving clues in the Across and Down columns which lead to the answers.”
The dated answer list above was published by Forbes on February 22, 2025, for the Sunday, February 23 puzzle: Forbes’ clue-and-answer listing.
