The NYT Mini Crossword answers for October 22, 2026, are not available yet. When the October 22 Mini should be available
The New York Times Help Center says daily Mini puzzles appear the evening before their listed date. Because October 22, 2026, is a Thursday, the stated weekday schedule points to 10 p.m. EST on Wednesday, October 21. The Help Center’s schedule and time-zone wording are subject to change, so check the official listing for the live availability.
You can play the Mini in the NYT Games app, at nytimes.com/crosswords, or in the News app. The Mini asks you to fill its white squares with letters using the Across and Down clues. Its lifesaver control can check or reveal a square, an answer, or the whole puzzle.

The NYT Games experience is the authoritative place to play the puzzle. The Help Center says subscribers can solve past Mini puzzles in the archive, which is useful if you miss the daily release or want to revisit an earlier grid.

Independent answer archives
NYTMini.com describes itself as a free, independent fan project that posts daily answers and clue history. It also says it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The New York Times Company. Treat its answer key as a secondary source and confirm that the date shown is October 22 before using it. The NYT Game Solver archive is another date-indexed source; its indexed October 2026 listings reached October 6 when checked, so it did not establish an October 22 solution.
