Parade and Forbes both identify the puzzle as Tuesday, October 28, 2025; their answer pages were published the evening before in EDT. Parade reports that the Mini resets at 10 p.m. Forbes describes it as a quick version of the larger crossword, usually with a 5-by-5 grid and occasional larger Saturday puzzles.
