|---|---|---|
| Yellow | Bar games | darts, pool, pop-a-shot, shuffleboard |
| Green | Decathlon events | 100 meters, long jump, pole vault, shot put |
| Blue | Net sports | badminton, ping pong, tennis, volleyball |

How the categories connect
Yellow: Bar games
Darts, pool, pop-a-shot, and shuffleboard are games commonly found in bars or similar recreation spaces. “Trivia is one” points to trivia as another familiar bar game.
Green: Decathlon events
The 100 meters, long jump, pole vault, and shot put are all events in the decathlon. The Olympic clue signals the track-and-field connection.

Blue: Net sports
Badminton, ping pong, tennis, and volleyball are sports played across or over a net.
Purple: Things with holes
A bowling ball, golf course, and wiffle ball have physical holes. “Bad defense” is the less literal entry: the category treats defensive gaps as holes. Yahoo Entertainment’s Gael Cooper noted that this clue is a concept while the other entries are physical items.
