Why the categories are easy to miss
The board does not group words by a single obvious subject. Instead, each set points to a different meaning or expansion of a two-letter abbreviation: postal abbreviations, a chemical symbol, a musical syllable, a psychological term, or an everyday use of the word. If the words seem unrelated, try asking what ID, IN, LA or OK could stand for.
