Try these hints first
Connections gives you 16 words to sort into four groups of four based on a shared connection. The groups are color-coded from yellow, the easiest, to purple, the trickiest. Because some words can fit more than one possible category, look for the meaning that makes exactly four words belong together. NYT Help Center
- Yellow: A little off the top.
- Green: Arnie in his prime.
- Blue: “Obsessed? Me?”
- Purple: Nature’s crinkles.
One trap is that words about cutting can also bring pruning to mind; several other words may suggest muscle or fitness. If you want to keep solving, pause here before opening the category themes.
