100% Soft’s Spider-Man screenprint
A New York-centered rogues’ gallery
Truck Torrence of 100% Soft designed the Spider-Man image as a tribute to the hero and his New York identity. The composition includes Spider-Man alongside Sandman, Rhino, Green Goblin, Venom and J. Jonah Jameson, making the villain lineup as important to the image as the central character.
Torrence said Spider-Man was one of his favorite superheroes and described the character’s rogues’ gallery as the best set of villains. That emphasis explains why this is more than a single-character poster: it is a crowded ensemble print built around Spider-Man’s comic-book world.

Jason Edmiston’s The Substance print
“Pump It Up”
Jason Edmiston’s The Substance artwork was titled “Pump It Up.” It was the smallest edition of the three featured releases, with 75 copies planned for the convention.

The work was listed at booth 2058. The preview supplied no dimensions, so the print should not be described as a particular size without additional provenance.
Dan Hipp’s The Goonies poster for Mondo
A Mondo release
Dan Hipp created the The Goonies poster for Mondo. Unlike the Spider-Man screenprint, it was presented as a poster tied to Mondo’s convention booth, with a 165-copy edition.

Mondo listed the poster at booth 1000. The documented physical size is 18 × 24 inches, and its original NYCC price was $60.

The io9 preview identified these pieces as limited-edition art planned for New York Comic Con 2024. That description establishes the convention context, but it does not prove that every copy was sold only in person. The preview did not state whether any edition was offered online, whether unsold copies later moved to an artist or gallery store, or how many remained after the show.

Checking a listing today
- Match the artist or studio: 100% Soft for the Spider-Man screenprint, Jason Edmiston for “Pump It Up,” or Dan Hipp/Mondo for The Goonies.
- Check the edition number and dimensions against the documented specifications.
- Ask for photographs of the print, signature or numbering when provenance matters.
- Treat any current price as a resale figure unless it is explicitly identified as the original NYCC price.
A generic “Spider-Man poster” listing should not be called the NYCC exclusive unless its artist, edition and provenance match the 100% Soft screenprint.
